Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SHABAP (“the App”), operated by HiFam LLC, located at 40 Old Lancaster Road, Merion Station, PA 19066. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SHABAP is a Shabbat planning application that helps you organize meals, manage guest lists, create menus, generate shopping lists, and coordinate with co-hosts. The App is available as a web application at app.shabap.ai.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Free Trial & Subscriptions

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the App.

• Annual plan: $52/year ($1/Shabbat)
• Monthly plan: $4.99/month

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Refunds

If you are not satisfied, contact us at shalom@shabap.ai within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Renewals are non-refundable but you may cancel to prevent future charges.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure.
• Upload malicious content, spam, or harmful material.
• Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the App without permission.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (recipes, menus, guest lists, photos, etc.). By using the App, you grant HiFam LLC a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content (e.g., recipe photos) and that it does not infringe on others’ rights.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by HiFam LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiFam LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting shalom@shabap.ai. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice within the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
